Christmas Eve in Russia: Putin Visits Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg Bearing Gifts

In St. Petersburg today, on Christmas Eve, Vladimir Putin visited the children's hospice in the Nevsky district. Over 250 children are undergoing treatment there. Those who have to stay in the hospice during the holidays received gifts today from the president. The president also promised that beginning this year, funds will be regularly allocated from the budget for palliative medicine.
